Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Tyron s. r. o. uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on www.tyron.sk. It complies with the EU GDPR (2016/679), the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC and the Slovak Act No. 452/2021 on electronic communications.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, pixels and SDKs. We refer to all of these as “cookies” in this policy.

2. Our consent model

By default we set all non-essential cookies and tracking to denied (Google Consent Mode v2 default state). Nothing that requires consent is loaded until you choose “Accept all” or set granular preferences. You can:

• Accept all — enables analytics and any future advertising tools.
• Essential only — only strictly necessary cookies; analytics and ads stay disabled.
• Reject all — same as “essential only”; we treat it as full refusal of non-essential storage.
• Change anytime — click Cookie settings in the footer to clear your stored choice and re-open the consent banner.

3. What we currently use

As of 2026 we operate a deliberately minimal stack:

1. Strictly necessary — session cookie (PHPSESSID) for the contact form CSRF token, and tyron_cookie_consent in localStorage to remember your choice. No consent required.
2. Analytics — Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager. Loaded only after consent. Used for aggregated traffic insights, never for advertising profiles. Data retention 14 months. We plan to migrate to self-hosted Matomo during 2026 to keep all analytics data on EU infrastructure.
3. Advertising (planned) — Google Ads remarketing may be enabled later in 2026. It will be loaded only with explicit “Accept all” consent and listed here before activation.

We do not use Facebook Pixel, TikTok, LinkedIn Insight, Hotjar, Clarity, third-party chat widgets, A/B test scripts or any cross-site fingerprinting at this time.

4. Legal basis

• Strictly necessary cookies — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
• Analytics, advertising and any future tracking — Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (your explicit consent), in line with §109 of Act 452/2021.

5. Data transfers

Google Analytics may transfer data to the United States. Google relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision (10 July 2023). IP addresses are anonymised before storage. When we migrate to Matomo all analytics processing will stay within the EU.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, port or object to processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority (dataprotection.gov.sk). To exercise these rights write to [email protected].
